This is not the place to share your favorite insight, or even a biblical perspective, it is totally dedicated to faith moments. So don't launch into a series of scripture quotes confirming your doctrinal correctness, and don't use this forum to pound out your desire for religious orthodoxy or moral purity. This is a call for stories of real people in real families, facing real challenges, learning real lessons, getting real understandings, in real jobs, in real schools, in real communities around the world. Think of a moment when you felt God’s presence, tell about it. Honor God by sharing your, victories, failures, struggles, and surprises; tell about your breakthroughs, conflicts, rescues, transformations, and wilderness wandering. Describe your fears, choices, and everyday realities.The following questions will clear the cobwebs:
- When has God forced you to slow down and re-evaluate what's really important in life?
- What causes some of us to want to explore the unknown even when that exploration might entail loss, pain, hardship, and death?
- When is the last time you walked through an open door instead of standing back praying for one?
- What personal sacrifice of ours has God turned into an unexpected blessing?
- Have you ever felt God was calling your name? What happened?
- Can you think of a time when God punched a hole in the sky and changed your world?
- What fear or failure has God given you the courage to face?
- Have you ever felt the fingerprints of God in your life?
We want stories from people of all ages, from church goers and church avoiders, from life-long believers and new kids on the block.
Here's the kicker! The stories have to be true, personal, about you and God. We're not interested in the touching email your got from Aunt Mable.
